Safety and Regulatory Compliance

Safety Audits are offered to members as a means to prepare for Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)/Canadian Ministry of Labor inspections. Participating members have lowered incidents of lost-time injuries, lowered workers’ compensation costs and avoided large fines from government regulatory agencies.

Safety Webinars 

SMI’s regulatory compliance consultant, Dr. Laura Helmrich-Rhodes, CSP, SHRM-SCP, will present four webinars this year to help members understand the latest information regarding OSHA and company safety issues.

All of the webinars are presented at no charge to SMI members and are scheduled for 1-2 p.m. (EST) on the dates listed below. Non-members may participate at a cost of $149.
